How do I book a class?

Use the Book button at the top of any page, or Book Drop-in from the schedule. Reservations are recommended for evening classes, which are the ones that tend to fill.

Can I drop in without a membership?

Yes. Drop-ins are always available at $18. Class packs and the monthly plan simply cost less per class if you practise regularly.

Are classes beginner-friendly?

Almost all of them. Most evenings are designed for newcomers and steady practitioners together, and Breath & Basics assumes no prior experience at all.

What is the cancellation policy?

Cancellations are accepted up to 2 hours before a class starts and return the credit to your account. Inside two hours the spot is counted as used, because someone on the waitlist can no longer take it.

What happens if a class is full?

You can join the waitlist. If a spot opens we contact people in order, and you are never charged unless the reservation is confirmed.

What should I bring?

Comfortable clothes and water. Mats, bolsters, blocks, straps and blankets are provided and included in every class.

What if I arrive late?

Come in anyway — quietly, and set up at the back. We hold reserved spots until five minutes after the start time, after which they may go to a walk-in.

Do class packs expire?

Accepted Answer

Five-class packs are valid for six months from purchase and can be shared with friends or family. Your balance and every credit that makes it up are visible in your account.
